CAMP RULES & POLICY

CAMPGROUND RULES
In order to maintain the high quality of our grounds and buildings and to insure the safety of our campers,
everyone should abide by the following:

· Park only in designated areas. All campers/sponsors must leave their automobiles parked.

· Fire-arms and/or fireworks are not allowed on campground.

· NO smoking, drugs or alcoholic beverages allowed on campgrounds at any time.

· There can be no shaving cream and/or water balloon, etc. fights.

· NO open flames—candles, etc. are not allowed without prior camp permission.

· NO moving of furniture (beds, etc.) or removing mattresses from beds.

· NO rough play in the buildings, especially the Chapel. Due to past group experiences, any skit or drama done must not contain any running, jumping, rough-housing, water, or food items in the Chapel under no circumstances. This building is for Worship Services only.

· Camp Management must be informed in advance if the Rifle Range is to be used. Camp staff-approved adult supervision is required at all times.

· Any defacing of walls, furniture, etc. or damage to facilities, property, or equipment will be the responsibility of the individual and his/her group. The camp must be reimbursed.

CELL PHONES & MEDIA
It is the desire of Psalms Camp that all attendees encounter God in a quiet and still environment, without the noise of the culture to distract. In order to achieve this, everyone must abide by the following:

· Media players and all gaming devices are not permitted.

· All campers must turn their cell phones in to their sponsors until designated times. If, during your stay, you need immediate contact with your family, you may use your cell phone under the supervision of your sponsor. If cell phones are seen by the Camp staff apart from emergencies or designated times, the cell phone will be taken and mailed home at the owner’s expense.

DRESS AND RELATIONAL RULES
God’s Word commands us to dress in modest apparel so as to bring honor to God and to protect the purity of fellow brothers and sisters. Psalms Camp specifically requests that everyone abide by the following rules:

· Shorts must be no shorter than 4" above the knees.

· NO halter tops or any kind of top leaving a bare midriff. NO spaghetti strap shirts or deep cut tank tops.

· NO two-piece swimwear for the girls unless covered by a T-shirt.

· NO clothing with symbols or lettering that is offensive to the Word of God. This includes Rock & Roll groups, crude or foul language or obscene gestures.

· NO displays of affection between couples at any time. This includes hand holding, frontal hugging, kissing, etc.

CHURCH/GROUP OBLIGATIONS AND CAMP SPONSORS

· Each Church or group is responsible for bringing one male sponsor for every 1-10 boys, and one female sponsor for every 1-10 girls.
